I wanted to know what is the best way if any to add performance to my '94 LX V6. I know if enough about cars to get by but am no pro. I know that I could probably put a supercharger in but is that the only way or should I start looking at droppping a 5.0 in?? Any advice on this would be appreciated.

Performance you want? Hmm...the 3.8 does have it's advantages over a V8(BTW, ford did not put 5.0's in the '94s...it was the modular 4.6 V8 =) ). I say that because it is lighter in weight. For every 100lbs you can remove from your car, you gain 10hp. Well, as mentioned below the Air Silencer can come out. You can assemble a ram-air system. You can purchase a computer-chip for the ECC(computer). You can get under-drive pulleys. You can do some exhaust work also. All of these things are rather easy to do without major work. <br><br> If you wanted to get serious, I'd look at a Cam, new intake, head, valve springs, and a matching exhaust for 300~400hp with no super charger / turbo.
