Hello all, I am new to the list and looking for some words of wisdom. I am considering purchasing the vehicle listed in the subject. I was wondering if anybody could give me a heads up on what I want to look for or be aware of before deciding to purchase. Some background on me and the car. I am the on site (at Ford) engineer for a cylinder head casting supplier. I am comfortable with working on my vehicles (one of my toys/burdens is an '89 Mazda GTX).The car is presently owned by the lead engineer on one of my programs. It has the engine and trans from a '99 Crown Vic Police Interceptor (65K miles). New brakes (rotors, pads and lines). "Freshened" front end (ball joints, tie rods,...etc.). Should be able to get for $3K, maybe as low as $2800. So, any thoughts, comments or caveats from experienced owners? Thanks in advance for any input.-Ken
