Instructions for removing the lock cylinder are to be found in both the
Chilton's and Hayne's manuals for all Fords. It isn't difficult, although
you may have to take the shroud off the steering column because of the
damage to the lock itself. The good news is that the actual ignition switch
will be fine, to it is only the lock cylinder that will need changing. I'm
not sure if you can buy the ignition cylinder by itself. If not, changing
the ones in the door so that you only need one key is not difficult either.
The procedure is also outlined in the two manuals.
