Hi,
I have a silver 1991 Ford Crown Victoria. I have been thinking of
trading it in or selling it for something a little newer due to my
70 mile++ commutes. I have gone to several pricing sites like Kelly
Blue Book and they all value the car at around $700. I think thats
good considering age, but online at autotrader.com many are selling
their 1991 Crown Vics for about $1500 and look to be in worse
condition than mine. I was wondering what you guys think.
My Crown Vic:
- 124,000 miles - New engine at about 89,000
- air condition does not work - but can be fixed for $2000
- heater does work
- 6 seats
- grey interior
- interior in good condition except for the gear shift area... the
gear shift had been replaced and they had to cut the area up
- new brakes
- regular dings and knicks from road (quite a few... California
roads!!)
- some scratches and dings around the doors especially the driver
- has had regular oil changes
- the car works great mechanically
- new headlights
- light that lights up buttons on radio doesn't work
Now let me tell you about the ones online at autotrader.com:
150,000+++
many more dings and dents
not original hubcaps
Many dings and some dents
the cars have also been sitting and missing pieces
Any feedback is greatly appreciated.
Thanks, in advance,
Mike
