Hey all. I have a 1993 F-150 that I am going to dump about $1000.00 into for repairs (250,000 miles. I think she has earned it). Anyhow, among the numerous repairs, I am going to re-do the exhaust because BOTH cats. are plugged. I want to put 3" exhaust on it but someone informed me that "if you do that you better plan on a new engine..." sighting the mileage combined with the improved "breathability" of the engine, that it will start having issues. What kind of issues should I expect? The truck has awesome compression, does not burn or use oil... The only major repairs in that period of time have been a transmission rebuild and 3 clutches. -Andy in Boise, ID
