well as we all know the fan went in my 1994 v8. I ordered a Perma- cool fan for it and am waiting for it now. I replaced the thermostat in it with a 180 degree one, and have been driving the car for two weeks with that in it and NO FAN AT ALL. It has not overheated once since the new T-stat, even without the fan, it hasn't even gone over half way! It overheated twice before that and I was still trying to get the old fan to work. I recommend changing the stock T-stat to one of the lower temp ones. If it works on mine with no fan it's really doing something, and it's only a $12.00 upgrade with the new gasket. Well that's my 2 cents anyways.
