doc,
15 months ago, with the birth of my 3rd child, and with a need
to have my 3 children, my wife, and my mom in a vehicle,
I knew it was time to buy a van.
I was actually seriously looking to buy a used
Toyota Previa at the time, but when I saw this Ford Luxury
conversion van with a 4-Sale sign in it, I could pass it up once
I saw the tremendous luxury and large interior room inside.
I purchased my 1994 Ford E150 Luxury Conversion van 15 months ago
for $4700. It currently has 76,000 miles on it. It has a 4.9 Liter
Inline
6 cylinder engine with the famous "C-6" 3 speed automatic transmission.
It is not a high top van. But it does have light purple velour chairs,
velour wall and ceiling covering, curtains, and a rear bench seat which
manually folds into a bed.
I am very happy with the Ford Van, and I want to try to keep it at
least 10 more years (maybe 15 years more if I am lucky)...
- Bill
