Well, Hello Fortunate Ford Owners...

I sure could use some help and I am pretty new to blogging stuff, too, so please have patience.

I will describe the problem then tell you what Ford Motor Company said. The accelerator peddle went to the floor and I managed to steer the car to the side. When I opened the hood the acclerator cable I'll call it had snapped right off the actuator...the part itself has a number on it 93BB 94560AB..however...
It seems I have a rare and exotic 1996 Ford Contour that needs a part no longer made...it is a
1996 NB Section:97 Group 9N825 Actuator Assembly Throttle Intervention. If I can figure out how to load the digital picture I took of it, I will do so if need be. It is mounted just behind the left front headlight under the hood. Seems to as rare as dragon teeth or some such....and incredibly expensive...can anyone help me out?
