Will not shift into overdrive.
Any ideas?
Is this a vacuum system, electronic, or what?
Could it be bad contacts, or a plugged valve?
Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks.

I'm don't know the answer to your question, since I know very little about transmissions, but if you will go to www.feoa.net and ask your question, there will probably be someone there that will be able to help you out. It's a forum strictly for Escorts and has lots of members that are active on a daily basis.
