depending on your budget : low cost mods would be buy a 6ft 3in $6 dryer hose. disconnect the plastic intake from the front of the car to the 3in inlet on the air box, hook up the dryer hose and run it down in front of the battery and out the access panel behind your radiator. Next buy a $32 k&N drop in filter. better wires range from $25-200 have a 2 1/4 cat back exhaust made for $200, then high flow muffler $60-100 , then your prob gonna want a tip on it go brospeed $50 headers run around $300 air intakes are from $150-200 after you do all of that there are still things to try ECU, throttle body, port and polish head, engine swap, turbo, NOS, cams, high flow cat, injectors, fuel pump, dome pistons, light weight internals, Under drive pulley, fuel pressure riser, etc........ Rob M. 94 se atx some mods

Dont forget headers, breathers, clutch, or if you have a ATX probe like me you can buy a level 10 shift kit tranny cooler, breaks, and well hate to think of what else oh and lighting also.

Heh, feels like forever since ive posted a message on this board. I dont know why, just an odd feeling, but anyway... ATX is an abbreviation for automatic transaxle. I suppose some people just us AT or ATX to describe automatic transmissions as well (i.e. rear wheel drive vehicle transmissions), but we will know what you mean. The main difference between the Base/SE and the GT is the engine. The GT has a 2.5L V6, and the Base/SE has a 2.0L I4. There are other differences as well, especially between model years and engine/transmission combinations as well. You can look on my page, listed in my signature below, or just go here: http://www.avana.net/~dedric/fordmazda.html ive made a small summary there. Also, the Bay Area Probe Owners Club has a pretty extensive page on the differences, down to the various trim changes, etc. Bay Area POC http://www.klio.net/probe/ Dedric Ramsey - Yeah, I need to update my page, probably tonight. Probably. :) dedric@... http://www.avana.net/~dedric/

Here is the web site http://www.levelten.com/index.html there shift kit is like 110% better then what comes with the probe. I it makes the shift firmer and quicker also it makes the tranny stronger.

To everyone. I live in maryland and as for as I know. There is no Probe owner club. I want to start one. I just need to know of any details or suggestions, hints, etc. To help me get this owners club off the ground. Jose G
