hi,

my outtake (from what i can gather) hose from my heater core is going bad. there is a "T" shaped plastic thing in the line. from what i can gather, that is the heater control valve. in fact, that is what is bad. it is leaking/steaming when the truck heats up.

my problem is that i am getting the runaround from the dealer and from auto parts palces as to what actually needs to be replaced, or what i would be getting. the dealer gave me a part number 2L5Z 18472 CA, but i cannot verify with the parts guys if that includes the heater control valve, or is just one piece of hose! there are three separate pieces of hose that make this whole thing up.

can anyone help me out here? i'd like to just replkace it myself, but can't really afford to be driving around in 100 degree heat while the car heats up all the time.

thanks
