I just replaced the origianl Contintental tires with BFG Long Trail T/A Tours from America's tire for $504.84 out the door. I had 80,000 miles on the Continentals, but they still had 5/32 of tread. I just got tired of the noise and harsh ride. The BFGs are quite, smooth and handle very well. they only come in OWLs, so you'll need to decide if you want the white letters out or in. I like them out. I clean them with softscrub and add some Gunk tire shine and they look great.

Whatever you do, DO NOT replace with the same tires that came on your Escape. They wear well, but you don't have to put up with that noise.

Good luck!!
