Could use a little help. My F250 Diesel is blowing fuse 8. I plow and pull a 5th wheel. As soon as I plug the plow in the fuse blows immediately. I disconnected the harness to the plow and plugged the OEM connectors back in to the head lights. 3 days latter the fuse blows again. I pulled the cover off of the steering column to see if there were any shorted wires but I could not find any. I also discovered that the trailer light connector on the rear bumper had been pushed under. I pulled it back out and reconnected the plug to the back of the receptacle. When I hook up the trailer all the lights work fine and the fuse doesn’t blow. I get a code also when I replace the blown fuse. The fuel tank level sending unit The code clears with no problem. This doesn’t make since to me anybody have any ideas?
