Well, it appears that I made a big mistake in purchasing new wheels
for my
'03 Expedition.
Since I have tire monitoring, the new wheels obviously don't have the
sensors in them and now ever minute I get the warning on my console
advising me that tire pressure is too low.
I asked the dealer if this is something that they can disable but
they're not sure. I tried resetting it but that won't work either.
The dealer says that they were able to do this on a Windstar so I'm
hoping that they can do the same. If not, I'm out $1800K
So, if you're thinking of new wheels and have tire pressure
monitoring,
don't do it.
