hi all i am puting a 302with a c4 in my 85 rgl cab long bed ranger does any one have any donw sides to doing this i am puting it in place of a 2.8 5spd the truck has factory 4:10 gears tia for any thoughts or comments

Hello...i am in the same situation im thinking about doing the same thing to get more horses.... how much will it cost u to do the modifications? Members in this club seem slow to respond to message postings...

well i am getting off cheap i had the motor and trans here the hardest for me is finding the time but if u dont have any of the major stuff u will spend any where from 500 to 1000 bucks use a c4 trans it makes the job alot easyer and u an buy the motor mounts or make them i am makeing mine as to keep cost low go to this web site and take a look around they have a section for the v8 swap the site is www.therangerstation.com let me know hwo u do brooks

me and a friend were looking to do the same thing it is a really good idea to do it just takes a lil more gas to get were u are goin but it is worth it when tunner cars roll up and see a lil truck then u burn them off ur ****
