Hi there guys, and gals... I own a 98', 5-speed, 2.3l,reg cab, that is 2 wheel drive... I like my truck, and don't ever wish to depart from it. But, how can I make it better... Faster.. Better Performance.. bigger..????Can anybody help

Hi guy, I had the same problem before poor performance,till I try K&N ail filter. so far Performance has inprove. but have a other problem is hard on starting till I crank it 2 time. have not yet found what is wrong. hope his help felix2859@... -- In rangerperformance@yahoogroups.com, "puppydog172001"

I put the drop-in K&N filter on my 96 2.3L and felt a small improvement as well. I figure a flowmaster exhaust and headers would be your next step. However driving it around more, it feels like the car has some power, but you just have to drive it in the powerband (all the time :) I don't have a tach, but if I drive it between 3-5k, the power is so much more responsive and available. The engine probably doesn't like it though. felix2859
