I use 87 octane only from 76 stations- costs usually 10 cents more than the arco low end- but seems to provide a little better boost than going for the cheapest. 76 has the nascar emblem on it- leadin me to believe it contains a little better gas and/or engine cleaners. Have heard from other guys at my job- we all drive all day- that 76 gas does seem to make a difference. Have heard the only difference no matter what gas station u go to that the difference between 87 and 89 and 92 premium gases is that they contain more cleaners that i guess will keep ur engine running smoother and cleaner. Any motorhead that can confirm this or has greater knowledge of the difference in octanes- feel free to inform us budding motoheads of the difference.

89 and 93 burn cleaner, but problem is, unless you get a superchip or teh diablo chip, you engine is stll times for 87, so changing and paying more doesn't do much for your economy engine :)
