has anyone had any problems with twisting the straps that connect you u-joint to the yoke? i cant seem to keep them on my truck. nothing special in the engine department. my driveline angles are correct as well. i was just wondering if there was a trick to all of this......<br>tia

I had problems for a while on a 77, with losing u-joint after u-joint. After several breaks I purchased a new yoke and this fixed the problem. The Ford dealer told me mine was worn, allowing the joint to "twist" out and break the strap.
