Hi<br> I am about to buy an older Ranger!!<br> I have a choice of a a 90 XLT for $4,500 with 85,000 Mi or a 92 XLT for $9,000 with 60,000 Mi<br> Both have the same options being fully loaded 4X4 extended cab's.<br> I just need it for running around town as a second vehicle.<br> Which one is the better deal?<br> What years have significant changes incorporated? and,<br> What kind of parts will need to be replaced at what mileage (I hear the power stearing pumps are prone to failure)?<br> Thanks allot

I have had a 90 and now own a 92 what engines do the 90 and 92 have my 90 had a2.9 v6 my 93 has a3.0 v6 the seats in a90 sit lower and don't have a headrest the seats in a92 sit higher and have a head rest I like the 3.0 better then the 2.9 i had i had less problems with the 3.0 hope this helps
