OK, I've seen messages on the board that state tires 275/40 17 or larger have been placed on the rear of SN95s. To those with 94-98 cars AND Cobra R (17x9) rims, did 275 or larger tires CAUSE any clearance problems (rubbing fenders, shocks, exhaust) that you had to deal with? OR did tires of this size fit with no problems at all? Are your cars lowered? G.Baylon 95 GT

I've been looking at 94-95's lately. The last one I drove had Speedware 17x9 Cobra R's and 275-40's on it all the way around, with Eibach Pro Springs. No rub. Did a full lock U-turn in both directions. I was stoked. Too bad the car showed evidence of rust repair over both rear fenders. Anyone have a Black/Black 94-95 GT for Sale (West Coast)? Dennis

I had 275-40-17's on my stock 17" rims, and 315-35-17's on my cobra r rims.. no clearance problems, but if you simply reverse your quad shocks you'll ensure that nothing rubs. a 275-40-17, a 315-35-17, and a 245-45-17 all have virtually the same diameter, so your speedo will not be affected by much at all - just FYI. I'm running 9" Borbets on my car with 285s on the rear with NO rubbing. It is VERY tight but it doesn't rub at all and I have MAC 2.5 catback with Kenny Brown Pan Hard Rod also. Dale
