My wife's 97 Contour GL with the 2.0L Zetec engine has a really rough idle. It's not so bad when not in gear, unless the stering wheel is turned. In drive/reverse the engine feels as if it bounces around under the hood. Also, with the idle problem, the power steering makes a shuddering sound. Vibration can also be felt in the wheel. Both problems go away above idle engine speeds. Any help is greatly appreciated.<br><br>Matt

Matt, Hello. I know this post is almost 2 yrs old but my wifes car is having the same issue and I was wondering if you ever fixed the issue and if so what was the solution. Thank You Kris
