97 Ford Contour

Does your '97 have a problem that your not telling us about?<br><br>Just kiding. The only problems I have had are:<br><br>Waterpump failure at 47,800 miles.<br>Engine failure at 48,000 mile do to WP<br>Left side wheel bearing replaced at 50,000<br><br>Thats it.<br><br>GERII/Cone_tour

I was just wondering if your Cup holder have broke yet or any thing like that. My contour as about 37,000 and I have had it for two years now and I just love it to pieces. Thanks

That was 4 years ago.<br><br>I like my '96 SE so much that my wife and I fight to drive it. Even after 58k.<br><br>GERII

But no loss at all.<br><br>I would think that there is a leak. Either from a bad hose or waterpump. Or the bad one, head gasket.<br><br>How mant miles are on the Tour?<br>It's a V6 right?<br>Have you replaced the Water Pump ever?<br><br>GERII/Cone_tour

The dealer replaced it with a single cup holder at no charge. I guess they had a lot of problems with them. Of course it was under the warraty period but it wasn't really covered by the warranty.
