After the dealership figured out my car WAS leaking coolant, they had to replace the engine due to the extensive seal & cylinder damage. When I picked it up, I noticed it idled funny, acting like it wanted to stall and then reving. It also jerks and hesitates when I accellerate in 2nd or 3rd gear only when it's cold. Same jerking motion like someone doesn't know how to drive a stick right--and when I push in the clutch the jerking stops. And I do know how to drive a stick right. The check engine light never, ever has come on. I took it in again today, of course they can't look at what's wrong because by the time I get it there, the engine is warm. I'm dropping it off again Monday night so they can check it tuesday, but they are so far telling be it's probably nothing covered by my warrenty. They think it's a sensor or a valve or a hose--but wouldn't that be covered by my warrenty? I'm really getting tired of taking the car to the shop--has anyone else had a problem like this, or a car that had everything fall apart so much? It's so frustrating and it seems like a loosing battle.
