I had the same problem when I bought my probe. If you will look on
the compressor, there is a high pressure shut off switch that is on the
compressor. I checked the pressure on mine and it was fine, it was just that
the switch had shorted out. So, find the wire that comes through the front
of the car to the high pressure switch that runs from the relay/fuse box.
Now unplug the the wire that runs to high pressure switch, then unplug the
wire that runs out of the high pressure switch. Now plug the wire closest to
the front of the car straight to the clutch. The wire that hangs out of the
high pressure switch should be left unhooked.
