My ABS tone ring has given up and needs to be replaced. I have a new ring but lack the ability to get the axle off to put the ring in. My vehicle is a 2001 windstar 3.8L. The ring was only $12.95 from the dealer but the want over $300 to install. Go figure. Has anyone had to replace one of these before? I realize that if I purchase a new or remanufactured axle it would already be installed, but the money and still getting the axle out and reinstalled, is another story. I had the spindle nut off and could not get the rotor off the spline or the lower arm out of the hole with the binder pin completely out. I realize that is necessary. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Russ

I seem to be unable to open these files. I realize it's just me. Is there a different way to get these files? Thanks, Russ

I see that they've had to go to torrent files because their bandwidth has gone over for this month. Russ, I could explain how to get the files,... but I'm lazy. So I've started downloading the file and once I have it all I'll email you directly and tell you how to get it :) -- ...rob

Those are ISO, which is basically a ZIP of a whole CD. Use Nero or another CD burning program to "burn Image file" to CD.

Aha, well you need the program Bit Torrent then you download the small file and use it to tell Bit Torrent how to download. Once you have the ISO images you do as I mentioned previously.

Download the ISO format and use http://isorecorder.alexfeinman.com/isorecorder.htm Alex Feinman's ISO recorder. It is very simple to use once it is installed you can right click on the ISO file and click burn to CD and about 3 minutes later you will have a Ford shop manual CD. If you need more help let me know by emailing me and I can provide more help. Shane
