Hey everyone! i was wondering how i could increase the idle speed on my car... its idling at around 500 or so currently.. and if i remember the proper idle should be around 900 or so..any help would be appreciated.. 94 PSE Eugene

your idle speed is actually not adjustable, it is computer controlled so a low idle means a problem somewhere else- it would be wise to have it checked out. and is it a manual or auto? i know a manual trans probe idles around 750. to get to the barke lights you pop the hatch and there is a panel on top that you pop off and the bulbs should be visible

than i dont know what to say mines a 94 and has always idled at abut 750, not to be insulting, but are you sure your reading the gauge right? if so maybe it has something to do withe OBDII...... Ben 94 base

like i said, i didnt mean to be insulting, i just had to make sure. and one more thing- pop your hood and find your emissions sticker, that always has your idle speed on it, never know-- it might say 500 Ben base 94
