It depends, it can happen to different degrees(as in levels, not timing degrees). Some more noticible than others. If you have concerns then I would back it off a little at least. A timing light can also help let you know where you stand and will give a little more insight into what you are dealing with. >

It is VERY noticable. If you cannot tell then there is no problem. How much of a diff. did you notice in performance? There was a big differance in mine. It got a lot better. Enjoy:) Bill 95 SE

When I advanced the ignition timing (I turned the distributer cap) the car started to click so I put it back to where i believe (almost positive) to where it was before. It stopped clicking for a while but just today, after i changed my oil, it started to click again. what should i do? Im probably just going to take it to my mechanic sometime soon and have him check it out, but i'd rather just fix it myself to save the trouble. And another thing. I saw on the bottom of my hood when i opend it, ignition timing directions. It says to unhook the plug by the left shock well, and i didn't do that when i did. would that have done anything?

the clicking you heard may not have been because of the timing being upped, the oil pump causes hla's to tick because of a faulty plunger or some shit, it airates ( spelling? ) the system. scott 93se
