Hi hope u all are having a good day:) First I want to ask if anyone knows of Bronco shows around the southern IL area, or of a site that would inform me of any? I have an '84 Bronco, and I hope someone can advise me on some problems it has- 1st the powersteering went out, it had quite a bit of play in the steering, then it went out- the fluid seemed to have leaked..... guessing it is a power steering pump that I need. 2nd is that there is a grinding/clunking noise from the front wheel area, especially after it was drove for an hour on the highway, and when turning. 3rd is that the brakes feel and sound airy, there isn't much fluid loss.... So any info on these problems r greatly appreciated, and if anyone knows of a site that has details on repairs and views of bronco's steering components/other parts. Thanx :)K

Hey There K, First I can't answer question the question about the shows, but I also belong to a forum called www.mybigbronco.com and I bet someone on that board can help answer that one. Question #1: Could be the pwoer steering pump or the steering gear box on the inside of the frame on the drivers side up near the front. Usually a pump won't cause alot of play in the steering. Question #2: Could be one of many things the first thing I would check is the brake pads, make sure they are not loose or worn to metal, then it could be the "knuckle" on the end of your front axle. It is hard to tell sometimes it might take 2 people to find these. Question #3: Sounds like the brake booster might have a vacuum leak somewhere. It could make a "airy" or "hissing" type sound. The Bronco Board I was talking about earlier can also help with these questions and most people will post pictures so you can see what they are talking about. I hope I helped..... Don
