Hi Gang, I got a Class Three Reese hitch put on my Escape yesturday. I got a seven way plug and a charge wire installed also. Looks great....now I need something to tow... Evan

Evan: If you're looking for a small camper to tow, why I have to suggest an Aliner. They look something like a standard pop-up when down, but when set up they are actually a hardside camper that looks like an A-frame. Really slick. If you look at standard camper trailers, I think you'll find that they nearly all exceed the advertized weight for the Escape. If you're looking for a boat, better stick with aluminum, a glass boat is going to be toooooooo much weight for the Escape. I have towed either my boat or camper many many miles across the US. Actually have pulled the camper clear across it, from Florida to the LA metro area. Trust me, the Escape has a hard time going up hills with 2,000 pounds behind it. It really really lacks in torque!!
