Eating coolant with no signs of leakage. . .its my sisters truck so I don't get
the full symptoms. Just recently we had the water pump and thermostat changed
out because the pump was leaking. Right before that I had changed the heater
hoses and radiator hoses. Just yesterday I saw one of the heater hoses on the
firewall was leaking a bit, so I need to replace/ tighten it down more, and I
used standard heater hose from checkers to do the bottom most hose (i think
going to the water pump, not sure) and it is all curved. . .but the hose I put
in didn't fit PERFECTLY. . maybe one or two kinks, so I am going to replace that
one with the OEM ford hose. . .its like $30 or $40. And I am going to reverse
flush it. If I still have trouble. . .I guess I'll have to replace the
radiator, but I am weary of doing so if there are no leaks.
