googling gives info that a 32 airbag fault code means an incomplete circuit.
On the one where the horn and cruise control also stopped working- it's
almost certainly the slip-ring or "clockspring" wiring connector under the
steering wheel. The Haynes manual shows a pic of it on the page about
removing the wheel.
a 31 code- didn't see it listed. If it's actually the reverse, and a 13,
that is the airbag module is shorted to ground. Which might be the same
clockspring problem but one of the broken wires is touching something
perhaps.
the listing i turned up=

=UTF-8&safe=off&selm=3D5DA054.1127462%40inetnebr.com&rnum=1
the info came from a taurus sho website, but
found the same list at on a ford aspire site.
that said, It did not say anywhere that it is the correct list for xx year
Aerostar so verify. Call the dealer, maybe around 8:30 am when they are
still in doughnut and coffee mode, and will talk instead of telling you to
bring it in..
clockspring is around a c note, changes easily, but you need a steering
wheel puller. And disconnect the battery and let car sit for half-hour
before removing airbag.
