As anyone retro-fitted a newer air cleaner setup in a 85-86 Bronco or F-150? The stock setup is lousy. Chgd/adding oil is a pain without a long skinny funnel. Plus the oil cap is connected to the air box, which is also not very "user-friendly." any help here?

What I did to my 85 Bronco was to replace the intake system with a basic Edlebrock intake (the type with the botom and top metal holders), and add a KN 14in. air filter, then replaced the oil cap hose with a crankcase breather (a little 3in. diamiter filter). I've never had a problem adding oil, it's just a long reach for me.

Do you have a 302 with EFI like I do? I forgot to specify that in my first post.

No, I'm running a 351w w/ Holley 4bbl. I do know that KN makes an air-intake for most trucks, also check out www.truckperformance.com
