Hello, my air conditioner recently stopped working. When it turns on , it makes a really loud noise, and doesn't cool the air. Also there is a funny smell too.. <br><br>any help or suggestions would be great.<br><br>Also, does anyone know of any good shops in the Orange County area?

Hey, I had the same problem it turned out to be the bearings in the compresser. goto car parts.com to get your compresser and evaporator that was the cheapest I could find them.
