I just got a question about removing the air silencer on a 96' T-bird with a V8, do you just remove that box that is below the Air Cleaner assembly, and if so, do you have to put something in to collect air. I would appreciate it if someone could help.

You just remove whatever is on the underside of the fender, you can rig up something to pick up air if you want, but it's a little bit harder on the 96-97 as there's no fog-lamp hole to pull the air from.
