I am located in Madison....2001 ZX3 Power Premium with all options but Auto, Sunroof and Traction Control...6800 miles...Avg 31 mpg... Only Mods is a K/N filter and a Carbon Fiber Borla Exhaust Tip...This is my second ZX3...

Hey whats up? I am about an hour and 30 minutes from there. I live in Elkhorn its a little ways from Lake geneva. I have a 2000 Zx3 34,000 miles i have AFX power pulley kit, cool air intake, lowered 2", and 17" wheels tinted windows and stereo system, for the exhause i just cut off the exhaust resonator and put a tip on(kept the muffler on). Do you know of any shows in the ares?

Not that I know of but I assume there must be some as there are many tuner places in madison which sell hi-po parts for all types of vehicles... I will check around and see what's going on...I know there was a car meet back in april for Hondas, Nissan, etc...planned on checking it out, but I had other plans at the last minute....I know that there are a few Foci Z's that have been given a little attention but usually I am in a hurry and don't have time to chat with the owner about their mods. So how does that Baby Zee sound without the resonator?

It actually sounds very good. I was surprised. I was going to get this dynomax performance muffler that had the tip and everything but they wanted way to much. So i was like do whatever just so it sounds good. WIth the muffler being so for away from the end of the pipe it raps pretty good. I would recomend it than paying for and expensive cat or muffler system. You could feel the increase in power too. I dont know how it sounds with the factor air cleaner because i do have a cool air intake. Its loud in low rmps but going down the highway in 5th you cant here it. Just the whistle from the air intake.
