I hear people say about their cars being governed at 110mph and i have a 2.0
95 MTX probe and i have buried it over the 120 mark and never had anything
govern me.. All i have done is a cat back exhaust but the previous owner
might of had it chipped.. does anyone know what my car should be governed at?

I know for sure that on my 96 PSE, when you reach 111 MPH there is a fuel-cut off, so you slap your face in to wheel.. This is done, because our OEM tires have 112 MPH max speed rating.. Maybe in MTX this speed is higher? yeah i've also had the needle at 120 but i don't think in reality we're really going that fast. maybe after 110 its not really picking up anymore speed. i don't know but haven't got hit by the fuel cutoff yet. that would suck driving on the highway
