I am currently working on a 95 aspire sport. Here
is just a small list of what is currently being done
to it and what will be done in the future:
>
2-kicker 10L7 subs -powered by a splash 1100 watt neon
amp. fusion stiffining capacitor. I'm tearing out the
stock speakers seeing as how they suck and will be
replacing them probably with ultimate's component 5 1/4"
set. Putting in a panasonic head unit, with a kenwood
600 watt amp to push the speakers. I already have the
coral blue neon that will be going on the dash and will
be lighting up the hatchback area. I will be adding
13" american racing rims in the future. I'm looking
for a ground effects kit if anybody knows where to
get one. i'll be adding a strut support bar to help
the tightness of the suspension and am thinking about
tearing the engine down and upgrading the hell out of it.
I'll post pictures as the car comes along.
Now I
have a few questions:
My aspire has a red LED
light in the center of the dash that seems to be shock
sensitive. Does anybody else have this in thier aspire? I
can't find an alarm system anwhere, so I assume that
it's just a theft deterrent. It serves no other
purpose other than to blink when you tap the car.
anywho, thanks
<boogersnot9@...>

I own a 1995 Aspire to.. i just bought a cd
player to put into my car and i found out the the
previous owner decided to cut half of the cars wiring
harness and splice it into a different connecter.. So now
i have to splice each wire by itself.. but i don't
know which wires go to where.. any of you wouldn't
happen to have a wiring diargram or anything you can
help me out with would you?

There are no ground effects kits for the aspire,
only thing thats possible to do is go have some kit
you like from a civic and have it refined to fit your
car. and there arent any major engine upgrades however
you can take the stock Mazda 1.3L B3 engine and swap
in a 1.6L B6 engine they also make a 1.6L B6
Turbocharged engine however the turbocharged engine will
require some modifaction to the engine compartment and i
think the motor mounts are differnt but im not for
sure.
