I mentioned my overdrive slipping as if it was in nuetral in an earlier post. This past sunday I drove up to Kentucky, and about halfway to my destination, R,N,OD,D,2,and 1 acted like it was all nuetral, ever so slightly pulling. I did not know what to do so I called a buddy of mine who works with me in the national guard. He said on the side of the tranny there are two bolts about 3 to 6 inches apart. Sounds like your bands are slipping. Tighten them up here. Underneath I looked and found two about 3-6 inches apart. You have to loosen a nut, tighten the bolt,tighten the nut, then try the gears. You may need to ajust a few times to get it just right. Just do it little by little. I did this, got to my destination, then back home again. Just be easy on your ajustments.
