I am wondering if anyone knows why the fluid on the 4 cyl auto's leaks out of that vent on the top of the tranny. It seems odd to me that it would keep leaking out and never stop. I am concerned mainly because my tranny died at 11,000 miles and I am now on my second. Both the old one and new one do this, and there is a TSB out on it, but I have no idea what it says. Any insight would be great! Thanx John 97PSE

what I know of that thing is for ventealtion for when the tranny gets hot and the fluid starts boiling that is what the tranny shop told me when I got my tranny put in.
