Lately, ive only been getting 200-225 miles to a whole tank in my probe se. Ive put a new feul filter, Bosch Platinum 4's, MSD TFI Blaster Coil, PCV Valve, distribitor cap, rotary button, i removed the catalytic converter, and I still use a stock muffler. I ran the codes on it and all it would tell me is the MAF is out of range....WTF?? The car runs very smoothly @ all rpm's but I can seem to beat the bad gas mileage. I bought my car for 2,000$$ with a busted piston, as soon as I got it, me and my dad rebuilt it> rings, 1 new piston, main & rod bearings etc (the cylinder wall had no grooves or even a scratch) ...so the engine has 6,000 miles on it since the rebuild. It used to run about 300 miles to a tank....GOT NE IDEAS?? please reply I always run 93 octane, which has helped a little

hey, Positive Crankshaft Ventilation (PCV) it removes the compression out of the bottom out of the block. Its on the valve cover on the top by the intake. it costs about $4 at autozone. its plastic with a 90 degree angle on it, all u have to do is pull it out and drop the new one back in.

The Maf sensor is located right behind your air cleaner box. it controls the Air/Fuel ratio. When a MAF goes bad it will either make your car run like shit or use large quanities of gas. I haven't had to replace one for my probe yet but I did in my Firebird and it wasn't cheap Jeremy Red Probe GT Custom Exhaust Shitty Stereo >

I have heard that there are MAF upgrades for the probe they are about $300 with core charge so that I dont think that is to much of price.
