Got a bit of a problem with the stereo in my Crown Victoria and was wondering if any of you clued up people would know.

My Crown Victoria has got the full Bose system which is great, however when I fitted my Alpine CD tuner the speakers decided to start 'popping' every time you press any button. All the tuner earths are ok and it's got me scratching my head.

Any suggestions?

Do you maybe have a loose wire somewhere. The only time I have had this type of problem is when there is a lose connection.

A loose wire is also the first thing that came to my mind. I had an issue similar to this once and that was what the problem ended up being. Took me a while to figure out hwat it was but I eventually did with the help of a few friends. Good luck with fixing your problem!

Yes it can be a real pain to find that one loose wire. Have you had any luck yet?
