Okay there are 3 models of the probe. Frist the Base has the l-4 14" inch rims with tires limited options and regular cosmetic package. Second the SE. It has th l-4 more options including a sunroof, 15" rims with sport tires, not sure about the sport suspension, the same cosmetic package as the GT. Third the GT. Has the V-6 engine almost all options that are possible, 16"rims and sport tires and sport suspension, and same cosmetic package as the SE.    Jose G

ok, so there are 3 different models. base, SE, and GT (why not throw in GTS?). now just for my information did they make an SE in '97? i have never seen a '97 SE. i have a '97 base that came factory with the 15" "SE" rims, that's why i asked about the base rims that are for sale by another member. i was thinking that since ford knew that they were going to stop making probes they just started throwing weird parts on different models just for fun. oh yeah, and since mine is a base and should have come with 14" rims (i guess) would my speedo be off and that why it seems like everyone's top end is higher than mine? joe knight

sorry i have one more question: do all the base probes have the ugly (sorry) all yellow front turn signals or was that just '93?
