Hello,
Although this is not a question about a Ford Van,
I was hoping someone might be able to offer some advice.
I have a 1985 Toyota Camry which runs excellent.
I have decommissioned it, and it sits in my driveway.
I've been starting the car once a week and going up and down my
30 foot driveway about 10 times every Saturday.
Well, this weekend the car wouldn't start. The battery is apparently
discharged.
I guess starting and using the car once a week was not enough to keep the new
Sears Diehard battery charged.
I have a Sears battery charger. I used the 10 AMP setting for about 2.5 hours
to fully charge the battery. Now that the battery is fully charged, I just want
to maintain that full charge indefinitely. If I charge the battery for 30
minutes
every day with the 2 AMP trickle charge setting, would I be under charging or
over charging the battery?
