My battery continues to drop in voltage. Sunday morning I found it at 2.3 volts and got a new battery later that day. However today (tuesday) my battery was down to 9.5 volts. It is not the alternater because after receiving a jump and letting it run my battery ran back up to 12.2 volts. Something inside is draining my battery while it is off and I believe it may be the voltage regulator. Another reason I believe this may be the problem is because my head unit (cd player) is having display problems and this could be due to an electrical problem. I was wondering if anyone else experienced problems like this and if someone could tell me where the voltage regulator is located in a 1999 Ford Contour. Thank You, Steve
