What is the best brand of tires to put on your vehicle in your honest opinion? Or do you do like a lot fo consumers and just purchase what is on sale?

To be honest I generally purchase what is on sale. It seems every time that we need tires we are low on money. So I have no choice but to go cheaper.

I always buy Goodyear unless tires are badly needed and I just don't have the cash for them, then i will go with something cheaper.

I normally buy the brand that the tyre fitter recommends. I normally go for one of the household names brands, as tyres are something I don't like to scrimp on, but i don't have a favourite.

I don't go for cheap prices, I am looking for quality and I take the advice of the person who maintains my car. That car nees tyres more often than I need shoes, so it gets expensive.

I have another question about the best tires: If I live somewhere where it snows a lot, should I get a different tire for winter than for summer? Or should I just put chains on my tires?

We usually end up buying whatever is on sale too, but I'd rather buy a better brand.

Sorry jazzgrrl, I don't know anything about snow tires.

The best tire depends on the performance of my wallet at the time. banana.gif
