Hey, just joined the club. Noting the anti-Chevy note on the home page, I agree that Ford layeth the smack-down on all bow ties. I currently own three rides, 1- 5.0L equipped Bird, 1- 5.0 Stang, and 1- Mazda MX6 GT Turbo. The Bird has 192K miles on the original engine and AOD. I have only done minor mods to them. I rebuilt the rear to handle more ponies than I should have, the suspension is undergoing changes with Kenny Brown components, and I am collecting parts to swap out the AOD with a T-5. I currently have a 5.0L (91) from a Stang that I will be rebuilding shortly. Can provide more specific info later is anyone is interested. By the way, my Bird is an '88, last of the Fox chassis era.
