Yeah start saving up money or take out a small personal loan.

It might not have anything to do with the fluid being changed. If you reset the computer, the code will not come back on for quite a few miles after the computer is reset

You need to go and buy a shift selonoid block assembly that is located right under the pan on the front of the tranny. It ranges from $125-$175 and is a snap to put on.

The shift selonoid block assembly is an aluminum block with switches and god knows what in it. It makes the tranny shift, it has a 1st,2nd,3rd,4th and converter lockout selonoid all together. You can look at the top of the tranny towards the front and the bundle of wires going into it is the wires for the selenoids. It's easy to install, go to NAPA (the only place i found it other than ford) and get them to find it for you and order a pan gasket. It takes about an hour to install and its very, very easy. I put one in mine and got 14,000 more miles out of my tranny but it finally went "kaput" at 118,000 miles for me.
