Are there any ground effects kits out there for a 97 Contour? Everything I have found so far is for 98s and up.

Nothing aftermarket, but the SVT kit will go on there and look pretty stock. Front bumber takes a little modifying though

I would agree, try wings west.

There are a few mfg's now making body kits for them... We have seen quite a few of them ourselves. In my opinion, wings west quality & mounting is far superior than others.

Without naming names, others simply mount with globs of adhesive while WW kits have nice quality dbl sided tape with apply easy.. I installed one myself in less than 30 mins, & I don't even work on the cars :) so its a nice kit & easy to install. Don't care for the style of their new kit myself, but to each their own.

Steve

I know kaminari has a "clean" looking kit. It's not for everyone, and I haven't seen it up close. I have seen the full wings west kit on a silver ZX3 (he also had awesome mirrors on his car!) and it looks GREAT in my opinion. Also, cervini (sp) makes a nice, aggressive-looking hood with 2 functional air inlets on the hood. This is the hood that the V6 Focus Wagon (The BEAST, if you've heard of it) uses.

I have the shogun kit from Erebuni. I wouldn't recommend the kit at all!!!!!!!! First of all, the kit doesn't fit at all. My body man had the worst time getting the kit to fit. It should fit being that it cost over $1000. Their customer service is the worst, they didn't even try to help me out at all. The kit has no front turn signals, and you can't have your bumper reinforcement either. There simply isn't enough room between the bumper and the radiator. I'd go with the Xenon had I'd known better!!!!!!!! Hope this helps you out!!!!!!!! Andre

If you have a 93 SE and you are removing the original ground effects, please let me know as I am interested in purchasing those items.

Let me know if you need the left or right side. Paint would complete the installation.
