I am sorry to say that i was rear ended a few weeks ago and I am in need of a good body shop in indianapolis or surrounding area. Since it is for insurnace I am not concerned about price just getting my car back on the road. Any help that anyone can give would be greatly appreciated.

I've worked in a body shop for a number of years. my best advice is don't take your car to the dealer. they are in it for the money and don't care about the quality of their work, just that it gets done. probably the best thing to do is take it to a moderately sized shop and get opinions and estimates from at least 3 shops. remember by law your insurance can't tell you where to go, they can give recomendations though. find a shop that uses ppg, dupont, or sikkens paint. good luck.

I am sorry to hear that...you would think that they would see the car..besides my ZX3 we also have a double yellow Beetle, it seems as some days that car just has a bullseye painted on it somewhere, and they always say that they just didn't see you! How the heck that they could not see a car that vibrant. So what was damaged in the accident? Jay

Look for frame damage or the issue that it may be more than 50% value of the vehicle to repair. If so it may become a total loss anyway. RUF
