I have thought of getting a performance exhaust, either a Borla or a
Gibson. http://www.gibsonperformance.com/ I have talked to 4 wheel
accessories about them. I'm waiting to learn a little bit more about
the performance exhausts and waiting for my stock exhaust to go. I
think that they are certainly good, but I'm not sure how much noiser
they are. I'm not worried about the noise for myself (because I like
the deep sound), but how much it will bother my wife. I would like
to meet someone who has done it and listen to theirs.
My K&N filter would play a greater role if you match it up with a
performance exhaust. It will give better fuel mileage and more
horsepower. (Better for towing Dennis!)
The woodgrain dash or the exhaust will likely be my next big
accessory. I don't mind the existing dash, so that's what is holding
me back for that. (Although Mr. Bumble's dash sure looks good.)
The Donnelly mirror with the temp and compass is sweet but isn't
cheap.
I am having a urge lately to buy something for my Escape, so maybe I
will look at the exhaust again.
How about you Evan, are you considering one?
Anyone else have experience with performance exhausts?
